Jun 14, 2019 · The most desirable stats undeniably are: 1. Crit Damage (This is by far the most desirable as it gives the highest DPS increase.) 2. Range (increases combo counter quickly and can hit more enemies at once.) 3. Attack Speed (Increases speed of combo counter increase and ability to proc status effects) 4. In general you can go for light/heavy hybrid Contagion builds and go ++crit+speed, although zaws with good slash weighting and access to easy combo slams, most notably 2H Dokrahm, can build for ++status+speed due to the stealth multiplier on Exodia Hunt. Kronsh also has a very niche gimmick build if you can get -impact due to weighting entirely ...

I believe they got minor buffs in damage numbers to compensate for the Condition Overload nerf. At the same time most other weapons just got overall better stats. A major help for Zaws would be to give them a 2.0x crit multiplier that increaeses to 2.2x upon gilding them. I think this still remains the best build for the kripath, which should be built for viral/corr, the best elemental combo in the game. The hybrid kripath is still strong AF, but no longer top dog.
